The SPINDLE BEAD is made of sewn rows of seed beads, 14kt gold or sterling silver beads and semiprecious stone beads. The end bead is usually a glowing Japanese Miracle Bead. The Spindle Bead is often used as part of a clasp, but I also make Spindle Earrings (sorry, I don't have an image of the earrings). The Spindle Beads are usually 10 to 12mm long and 8 to 10 mm wide. This bead is part of the clasp on MARY'S NECKLACE.
